Soccer Recap: Pen Argyl Takes a Loss

Pen Argyl lost against Northwestern Lehigh back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Green Knights lost 7-0 to the Tigers. While losing is never fun, Pen Argyl can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 398th, while Northwestern Lehigh are ranked 18th).

Pen Argyl has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-11-1 record this season. As for Northwestern Lehigh, their victory was their 11th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-1.

Pen Argyl does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Northwestern Lehigh, they will square off against Moravian Academy on Tuesday. Northwestern Lehigh's defense better be ready for this one: Moravian Academy have averaged an impressive 3.5 goals per game this season.
