Basketball Recap: New Trier Snaps Three-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only New Trier walked away with it. They managed a 77-72 win over the Maine South Hawks on Wednesday. Given the Trevians' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 50th in Illinois, while the Hawks are ranked 167th in Illinois), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
