Volleyball Recap: Fontana Extends Road Winning Streak to 11

Fontana had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Westminster Lions on Wednesday. The win was familiar territory for the Steelers, who have now won three games in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-18, 18-25, 25-13.

Anthony Camacho had an outrageously good game as he had 20 digs and two assists. That's the most digs he has posted since April 2nd.

Fontana's victory was their 11th straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 28-6. As for Westminster, they moved to 23-6 with that loss, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Fontana will square off against Dos Pueblos at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Chargers will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Steelers surely won't give up without a fight. Westminster does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
