Recap: Munroe Bobcats vs. Oak Hall Eagles
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Munroe Bobcats had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They took down the Eagles 69-52. Winning may never get old, but Munroe sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
Karlton Knight continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, shooting 4-for-6 from beyond the arc and dropping a double-double on 23 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was JJ Clayton, who scored seven points along with 14 rebounds.
Munroe is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record this season. As for Oak Hall, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-6.
Munroe is on the road again on Tuesday and plays Impact Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on February 20th. Munroe knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past eight matchups -- so hopefully Impact Christian Academy likes a good challenge.
