It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Munroe Bobcats had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They took down the Eagles 69-52. Winning may never get old, but Munroe sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
Karlton Knight continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, shooting 4-for-6 from beyond the arc and dropping a double-double on 23 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was JJ Clayton, who scored seven points along with 14 rebounds.
Munroe is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record this season. As for Oak Hall, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-6.
Munroe is on the road again on Tuesday and plays Impact Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on February 20th.
