Softball Recap: Elkmont Comes Up Short

Elkmont made up a huge gap compared to their last game against East Limestone, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Red Devils fell just short of the Indians by a score of 4-2 on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Red Devils couldn't push the score so high this time.

Elkmont now has a losing record of 13-14. As for East Limestone, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-10.

Elkmont has already played their next matchup, a 6-0 win against Decatur Heritage Christian Academy on the 18th. Hopefully East Limestone paid attention to the Red Devils' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Red Devils at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
