Springfield won the last time they faced Lowellville and things went their way on Friday too. The Tigers simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Rockets 63-25. The Tigers pushed the score to 47-22 by the end of the third, a deficit the Rockets had little chance of recovering from.
The win got Springfield back to even at 1-1. As for Lowellville, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with the loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.
