Volleyball Recap: Mt. Lebanon Takes a Loss

Mt. Lebanon lost against Canon-McMillan back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Blue Devils came up short against the Big Macs, falling 3-0.

While Mt. Lebanon was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Canon-McMillan's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-13, 27-25.

Leading Canon-McMillan to victory were Aurora Shirdon and Cheyenne Stipetich. Shirdon had eight digs and three assists, while Stipetich had five digs and two aces.

Mt. Lebanon's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Canon-McMillan, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Mt. Lebanon will face off against rival Baldwin at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Canon-McMillan is set to take on their familiar foe Peters Township at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
