Basketball Recap: Treynor Piles Up the Points Against Tri-Center

Treynor won the last time they faced Tri-Center and things went their way on Friday too. The Treynor Cardinals blew past the Tri-Center Trojans, posting a 48-13 victory. The Cardinals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Treynor's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 23.0 points over those games. As for Tri-Center, their loss dropped their record down to 5-12.

Treynor didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 48-46 defeat against St. Albert on the 8th. As for Tri-Center, they will challenge Missouri Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Missouri Valley will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Tri-Center surely won't give up without a fight.
