Baseball Recap: South Tahoe Takes a Loss

South Tahoe fell victim to Truckee and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wolverines. The Vikings have struggled against the Wolverines recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

South Tahoe saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cruz Hernandez, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one double. That's the most hits Hernandez has posted since back in March of 2024.

South Tahoe's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Truckee, they pushed their record up to 8-5 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. South Tahoe is set to square off against their familiar foe Wooster at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Truckee will face off against rival North Valleys at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
