Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bristow). They came out on top against the Dewey Bulldoggers by a score of 9-4 on Saturday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Pirates with their most commanding win of the season.

Bristow is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for Dewey, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-5.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Bristow beat the Bulldoggers by a score of 9-3 later that day.
