Soccer Recap: Field Comes Up Short

If Field was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Springfield on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Falcons fell just short of the Streetsboro Rockets by a score of 1-0 on Wednesday. Field were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Streetsboro earlier this season, when they won 1-0.

Field's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 9-1 and their overall record down to 12-4. As for Streetsboro, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-4-1.

Field wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Revere on the 11th. As for Streetsboro, they have also already played their next match, a 4-3 defeat against Alliance on the 11th.
