Softball Recap: Portland Christian Takes a Loss

The Portland Christian Eagles came up short against the Carroll County Panthers on Saturday and fell 11-6.

Portland Christian has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-7 record this season. As for Carroll County, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1.

Looking ahead, Portland Christian will square off against Fern Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Carroll County, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 5-2 loss against Shelby County on the 12th.
