Basketball Recap: Addenbrooke Classical Academy Takes a Loss

If Addenbrooke Classical Academy was riding high fresh off their 54-27 takedown of Liberty Tree Academy on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Mustangs lost to the Twin Peaks Classical Academy Timberwolves on the road by a 63-44 margin on Saturday. The Mustangs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Timberwolves apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January.

Despite the loss, Addenbrooke Classical Academy still got an impressive performance from Asher Dobbs, who posted 21 points. Tribby Lopez was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with nine points and ten boards.

Addenbrooke Classical Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Twin Peaks Classical Academy, their win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Addenbrooke Classical Academy will be home for the holidays to greet Estes Park at 7:00 p.m. on the 15th. As for Twin Peaks Classical Academy, they will host Denver Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
