Baseball Recap: Overfelt Beats Gunderson for Their Fifth Straight Win

Overfelt entered their tilt with Gunderson on Thursday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They put the hurt on the Grizzlies with a sharp 17-4 win. The game was the first time the Royals have beaten the Grizzlies on their field since April 1, 2015.

Overfelt let ELIJAH CASTANEDA-AZCUETA and ADRIAN BARAJAS run wild. CASTANEDA-AZCUETA went a perfect 4-for-4 with six RBI, two runs, and two doubles, while BARAJAS scored four runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-3. Overfelt is undefeated when CASTANEDA-AZCUETA posts two or more runs, but 2-3 otherwise. Adrian Garcia also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.
