Volleyball Game Preview: Portland Christian Royals vs. Heppner Mustangs

The Portland Christian Royals will take on the Heppner Mustangs at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Portland Christian heads in on the heels of a playoff contest on Friday. They fell 3-1 to Clatskanie.

Meanwhile, Heppner didn't have quite enough to beat Crosshill Christian on Friday and fell 2-1.

Portland Christian's loss dropped their record down to 21-4. As for Heppner, their defeat dropped their record down to 24-9.

Everything went Portland Christian's way against Heppner in their previous matchup back in October of 2018, as Portland Christian made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Royals since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
