Basketball Game Preview: Quitman Panthers vs. Wayne County War EaglesLady War Eagles

Quitman is a perfect 4-0 against Wayne County since November of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Panthers will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against the War EaglesLady War Eagles at 7:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Quitman barely beat Laurel the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 29-9 margin over the Golden Tornadoes on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Wayne County earned a 33-24 victory over Heidelberg on Saturday. The win continues a trend for the War EaglesLady War Eagles in their matchups with the Oilers: they've now won four in a row.
