Basketball Recap: Southern Valley's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

Southern Valley came into Tuesday's game having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They skirted past the Cambridge Trojans 51-49. This was a revenge game for the Eagles: when they faced off against the Trojans back in December of 2024, they had to take a 69-41 loss.

Cambridge lost on Tuesday despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Brady Ahlemeyer, who posted 16 points and eight rebounds. Maverick Webb was another key player, putting up seven points and six assists.

Southern Valley's win bumped their record up to 4-13. As for Cambridge, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-8.

Southern Valley has already played their next match (against Medicine Valley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Cambridge will look to defend their home court on February 6th against Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] at 7:30 p.m.
