Baseball Game Preview: Malden Tornados vs. Lynn Classical Rams

The Malden Tornados will head out to face off against the Lynn Classical Rams at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Malden will come into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.

On Saturday, Malden got the win against KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate by a conclusive 10-1. The result was nothing new for the Tornados, who have now won four games by nine runs or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Lynn Classical fell victim to Danvers and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Falcons. Rams fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Falcons since Saturday.

Malden's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Lynn Classical, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Malden couldn't quite get it done against Lynn Classical when the teams last played back in May of 2025 as they fell 6-2. Can the Tornados avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
