Baseball Recap: Herington Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Herington's offense. They lost 23-0 to the Chapman Irish on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Railroaders in their meetings with the Irish: they've now lost three in a row.

Herington saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Noah Brunner, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Herington's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Chapman, they now have a winning record of 1-0-2.

While Herington had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
