Football Recap: Heritage Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Heritage and Norwell squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Heritage had to settle for second. They took a hard 24-6 fall against the Knights. The defeat continues a trend for the Patriots in their meetings with the Knights: they've now lost nine in a row.

Brady Boyle threw for 142 yards and one touchdown. Beau Stoppenhaugen was his top target, picking up 58 receiving yards and one score.

Heritage's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Norwell, their victory ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-8.

Heritage does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Norwell, they will challenge Fort Wayne Bishop Luers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
