After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Killian, Somerset Academy (Silver Palms) was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They breezed past the BridgePrep Village Green Bulldogs to the tune of 53-13. The Stallions' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Somerset Academy (Silver Palms)'s success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Aron Whitfield led the charge by throwing for 128 yards and two TDs while completing 72.7% of his passes, and also rushing for 37 yards. Another pass catcher making a difference was Steven Sanchez, who picked up 101 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Another reason for the win was Somerset Academy (Silver Palms)'s imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for five sacks. In that department, Fletcher Spann Iii was the leader with three. He also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with seven.
