Basketball Game Preview: Buhach Colony Thunder vs. Downey Knights

The Buhach Colony Thunder will challenge the Downey Knights at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Buhach Colony is headed into Saturday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their eighth straight games dating back to last season on Saturday. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 63-60 heartbreaker at the hands of Tokay.

Meanwhile, Downey unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 64-58 to Johansen on Tuesday.

Buhach Colony took their victory against Downey when the teams last played back in November of 2019 by a conclusive 68-48 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Thunder since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
