Tri-Valley and Our Lady of Lourdes Regional are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2016, but likely not for long. The Bulldogs will face off against the Red Raiders at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Tri-Valley will be strutting in after a win while Our Lady of Lourdes Regional will be coming in after a loss.

Tri-Valley took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They never let Tamaqua get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory. The result was nothing new for Tri-Valley, who have now won nine contests by four goals or more so far this season.

Nathan Hillard and Tyler Mowery scored all four of Tri-Valley's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 65 goals.

Meanwhile, Our Lady of Lourdes Regional lost 4-1 to Pine Grove on Tuesday.

Tri-Valley is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 45 goals over those six matchups. As for Our Lady of Lourdes Regional, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-9.

Tri-Valley might still be hurting after the 5-2 loss they got from Our Lady of Lourdes Regional when the teams last played back in October of 2023. Can the Bulldogs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
