Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Rootstown). They claimed a resounding 48-8 win over the Brooklyn Hurricanes. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-0.

Rootstown's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-0. The team's perfect season has a lot to do with their offensive performance: the team's won by an average of 36 points thus far. As for Brooklyn, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rootstown will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Berkshire at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th. As for Brooklyn, they will head out to face off against Crestwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Red Devils will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last.
