West's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They won by a run and slipped past the Lincoln Trojans 2-1. The win was some much needed relief for the Wolfpack as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.

Kayla McWhorter spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on three hits and racked up seven Ks.

At the plate, West saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aubrie Martin, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

West's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-14 and their overall record up to 4-17. As for Lincoln, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-14 record this season.

As of now, neither West nor Lincoln have any future games scheduled.
