Volleyball Recap: Logan Extends Winning Streak to Four

Logan had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Groveport-Madison Cruisers. The Chieftains have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cruisers, too.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Logan was: they took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-13, 25-15.

Logan found their leader in freshman Brelyn Edgar, who had ten digs and five aces. Those five aces set a new season-high mark for Edgar. Lily McKee also deserves some recognition as she had her first dig of the season.

Logan was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 14 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Logan's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Groveport-Madison, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-11 record this season.

Logan didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against KIPP Columbus on the 13th. As for Groveport-Madison, they will be playing at home against Canal Winchester at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
