The Naperville Central Redhawks will head out on the road to square off against the Lincoln-Way West Warriors at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Naperville Central is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.5 runs per game this season.

Naperville Central took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand West Chicago a 5-0 shutout.

The result came thanks to Cassidy Leonardo's shutout, as she gave up just five hits.

Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Lincoln-Way West, their victory bumped their record up to 17-9.
