Volleyball Recap: Colony Comes Up Short in High-Profile Matchup with Dimond

Colony faced Dimond in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Knights fell just short of the Lynx by a score of 2-1. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Colony's defeat dropped their record down to 16-8. As for Dimond, they are on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 17 matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 17-7-1 record this season.

Coincidentally, Colony and Dimond will both be playing South Anchorage the next time they take the court. The Lynx will head out to face the Wolverines at 6:10 p.m. on Saturday, while the Knights will host them at 6:00 p.m. on October 8.
