Soccer Game Preview: Hobart vs. Highland

The Hobart Brickies will square off against the Highland Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hobart is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.

Hobart's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. Everything went their way against Wheeler as they made off with a 6-0 win. Hobart might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matches by three goals or more this season.

Kurah Krucina and Rylee Christman scored all six of Hobart's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 37 goals.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Highland was forced to settle for a draw. Neither they nor East Chicago Central could gain the upper hand on Thursday so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

Highland's draw gives them a new season record of 8-6-1. As for Hobart, their victory bumped their record up to 9-4.

Everything went Hobart's way against Highland in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as Hobart made off with a 6-0 win. Will the Brickies repeat their success, or do the Trojans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
