Baseball Recap: Kenosha Bradford Comes Up Short

Kenosha Bradford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 12-1 to the Indian Trail Hawks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-4 last Tuesday.

Isaiah Barlow was huge no matter where he played even without the win. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over 4.1 innings pitched. Barlow was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

Kenosha Bradford's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Indian Trail, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.

While Kenosha Bradford had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
