First Flight waltzed into their game on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Swansboro Pirates by a score of 3-1. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Nighthawks were the better team in the second half.

Leighton Dutt and Summer Stevens scored all three of First Flight's goals, bringing their combined season tally to nine goals.

First Flight's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Swansboro, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. First Flight will take on Northeastern at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. This will be First Flight's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Swansboro, they will face off against Northside - Jacksonville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Swansboro will be up against Northside - Jacksonville's rather soft defense (which has allowed three goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
