Basketball Recap: Millbrook Starts Season with Victory Against Hillside + How To Watch

Millbrook had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. They snuck past the Hillside Hornets with a 68-64 victory. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Hornets recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Matt Kuppinen went supernova, shooting 86% from the field en route to 26 points and five steals. Another player making a difference was George Johns, who posted 16 points and seven boards.

Hillside's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Millbrook will host Sanderson at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Hillside, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against E.E. Smith at 8:00 p.m.
