Football Recap: West Shamokin Comes Up Short

West Shamokin lost against United Valley co-op [Blacklick Valley/United] back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wolves were dealt a 35-7 defeat at the hands of United Valley co-op [Blacklick Valley/United]. The Wolves were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-0.

Ryan Booher threw for 61 yards and one TD. JJ Cessna was his top target, picking up 53 receiving yards and one score. On the ground, Christian Wilcox rushed for 43 yards.

Dmitri Worthington was a one-man wrecking crew For United Valley co-op [Blacklick Valley/United]. as he threw for 137 yards and three touchdowns on only eight passes, and also picked up 80 receiving yards and one score. Worthington's longest reception was for an incredible 80 yards. Logan Lichtenfels was in the mix as well, providing United Valley co-op [Blacklick Valley/United] with two TDs.
