Volleyball Recap: Captain Shreve Takes a Loss

Captain Shreve was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the West Ouachita Chiefs. The Gators were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Chiefs earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

While Captain Shreve was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-22.

Captain Shreve's defeat dropped their record down to 10-20. As for West Ouachita, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-12.

Coincidentally, Captain Shreve and West Ouachita will both be playing Leesville the next time they take the court. The Gators will host the Wampus Cats at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Chiefs will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
