Football Recap: Olathe Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Olathe lost against Meeker back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Pirates took a blow against the Cowboys, falling 51-8. The loss was the Pirates' first of the season.

Garrett Keith threw for 39 yards and one TD. Jacob Avila was his top target, picking up 39 receiving yards and one score. On the ground, Hunter Lynch rushed for 55 yards.

Having lost for the first time this season, Olathe fell to 3-1. As for Meeker, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-2.

Olathe will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on North Fork at 7:00 p.m. on the 3rd. This will be the Pirates' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Meeker, they have already played their next contest, a 45-0 victory against Moffat County on the 26th.
