Flag Football Game Preview: Highland Prep West HORNETS vs. St. John Paul II Catholic Lions

The Highland Prep West HORNETS will head out on the road to face off against the St. John Paul II Catholic Lions at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Highland Prep West's offense hasn't had much luck over their past eight matchups, but Tuesday's contest will give them a chance to turn things around.

Highland Prep West is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Arizona Lutheran Academy on Thursday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The HORNETS were outmatched by the Coyotes and fell 35-0. While losing is never fun, the HORNETS can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona flag football rankings (they are ranked 118th, while the Coyotes are ranked 33rd).

Meanwhile, St. John Paul II Catholic got themselves on the board against Dysart on Monday, but Dysart never followed suit. They blew past the Demons 24-0.

Highland Prep West's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for St. John Paul II Catholic, their victory bumped their record up to 9-2.
