Softball Recap: Roane County Wins Going Away Against Poca

Roane County got themselves on the board against Poca on Tuesday, but Poca never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Dots with a sharp 15-0 victory. That looming 15-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Raiders yet this season.

Roane County got a massive performance out of Fair Smelko, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, five RBI, and two runs. Those five RBI gave Smelko a new career-high. Lexi Mitchell was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Roane County now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Poca, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
