Softball Recap: Regis Jesuit Comes Up Short

After flying high against Vista PEAK Prep last Thursday, Regis Jesuit came back down to earth. The Raiders lost 16-5 to the Eaglecrest Raptors on Friday. The Raiders haven't had much luck with the Raptors recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Regis Jesuit saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kendal Craven, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. Craven has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Another was Elsa Pedersen, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Regis Jesuit now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Eaglecrest, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Regis Jesuit will challenge Cherry Creek at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Eaglecrest, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Vista PEAK Prep at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
