Soccer Recap: Abundant Life Academy Takes a Loss

Abundant Life Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the King's Christian Knights, falling 6-0. While losing is never fun, Abundant Life Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey soccer rankings (they are ranked 154th, while King's Christian is ranked 15th).

Abundant Life Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for King's Christian, their win bumped their record up to 12-0.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Abundant Life Academy is set to challenge their familiar foe Veritas Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, King's Christian will face off against rival The Pilgrim Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
