Basketball Recap: East Lawrence Comes Up Short

East Lawrence was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a hard 56-39 fall against the Wilson Warriors. The Eagles were not able to make up for their defeat to the Warriors from their previous meeting back in December of 2021.

Wilson had a senior duo take command as Noah Hetrick posted 22 points and Cole Miller earned 20 points.

East Lawrence's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East Lawrence will take on Priceville at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Wilson, they will challenge Covenant Christian at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
