Volleyball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for California Academy of Math & Science

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only California Academy of Math & Science walked away with it. They came out on top against the Coastal Christian Conquerors by a score of 3-1 on Wednesday. The victory was nothing new for the Coyotes as they're now sitting on four straight.

The final score came out to 25-16, 17-25, 25-19, 25-23.

Despite the loss, Coastal Christian saw an underclassman step up: freshman Kaitlyn Starkovich had 18 digs and one assist. Those 18 digs set a new season-high mark for Starkovich. Montana Fischer also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

California Academy of Math & Science's win bumped their record up to 22-11. As for Coastal Christian, with the defeat, they broke their four-match winning streak and moved their record to 25-8.

As of now, neither California Academy of Math & Science nor the Conquerors have any future games scheduled.
