Greater Miami Academy waltzed into their match on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Edison Private Eagles by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 two weeks ago.

Greater Miami Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 27-29, 25-10, 25-11, 25-19.

Greater Miami Academy's victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Edison Private, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 11 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-13 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Greater Miami Academy will head out to challenge Archimedean at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Edison Private, they will venture away from home to take on Pinecrest North Preparatory at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
