Basketball Recap: Pelham Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Pelham suffered their biggest defeat since November 26, 2024 on Tuesday. They came up short against the Mountain Brook Spartans, falling 69-48. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Spartans apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2024.

Despite the loss, Pelham still got an impressive performance from Tee King, who posted 21 points. King's evening made it seven games in a row in which she has scored at least 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Hannah Bankston, who put up nine points.

Pelham has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season. As for Mountain Brook, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pelham will face off against Pell City at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mountain Brook, they will take on Homewood at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
