Moundridge put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They snuck past the Hesston Swathers with a 35-31 victory. The 35-point effort marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Moundridge's win bumped their record up to 12-0. As for Hesston, the defeat snapped their winning streak at nine games and leaves them with a 9-1 record.

Moundridge and Hesston should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Kansas Rankings. Moundridge (ranked eighth) will meet Garden Plain (ranked 183rd) at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Moundridge is looking to tack on another W to their 14-game streak on the road dating back to last season. Meanwhile, Hesston will square off against Buhler at 7:30 p.m. on Friday up 228 places (26 vs. 254).
