Soccer Recap: American Christian School Takes a Loss

American Christian School lost against The Pilgrim Academy back in October of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. American Christian School came up short against The Pilgrim Academy, falling 7-0. While losing is never fun, American Christian School can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey soccer rankings (they are ranked 378th, while The Pilgrim Academy is ranked 127th).

This is the second loss in a row for American Christian School and nudges their season record down to 1-12. As for The Pilgrim Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. American Christian School will challenge Trinity Christian at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for The Pilgrim Academy, they will venture away from home to take on Gloucester County Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Pilgrim Academy's defense better be ready for this one: Gloucester County Christian have averaged an impressive 3.5 goals per game this season.
