Volleyball Recap: Jordan Extends Home Winning Streak to Nine

Jordan waltzed into their match on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Hillside Hornets by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Falcons also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Jordan easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-21.

Logan Justice paced Jordan's offense, picking up eight kills. Justice got some help from Jonah Lee and his ten assists. Lee was also solid from the service line: he led the team with 14 aces.

Jordan pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Hillside, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Jordan and Hillside will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time Jordan sees the court they'll take on Chapel Hill at 5:00 p.m. on April 9. As for Hillside, their break will end when they face Eno River Academy at 5:00 p.m. on April 10.
