While Platte Canyon's victory against Jefferson wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Huskies narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Saints 3-2. The Huskies haven't had any issues with the Saints recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Platte Canyon wouldn't go down easily and took Jefferson into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-16, 25-21, 19-25, 15-13.

Platte Canyon's record now sits at 6-7. As for Jefferson, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season.

Coincidentally, Platte Canyon and Jefferson will both be playing Arvada the next time they take the court. The Saints will head out to face the Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Huskies will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
