South Pasadena was sadly handed a defeat on Monday, but Hanson Chan did his best to prevent it. Chan wasn't messing around, pitching 4.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off two hits. The pitching appearance was his third straight with two or fewer walks.

Looking ahead, Chan and South Pasadena will take on Temple City at 3:30 p.m. on March 17th. Sadly, Chan's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped South Pasadena's ten-game streak of wins on the road.
