Softball Recap: Staunton Takes a Loss

Staunton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 25th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 16-1 to the Buffalo Gap Bison. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bison this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-0 back in April.

Staunton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-17. As for Buffalo Gap, they pushed their record up to 16-2 with the win, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Staunton is set to challenge their familiar foe Wilson Memorial at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Buffalo Gap will square off against rival Waynesboro at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
