Maryvale had lost three straight, but after bumping their record up to 4-3 on Thursday that streak is in the rearview. They claimed a resounding 70-43 win over the Skyline Coyotes. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 40-13.

As for Skyline, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss they have suffered since January 3rd.

Skyline's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Isaiah Bowens, who posted 15 points and five rebounds. Bowens is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Karter Battle, who earned seven points.

Maryvale didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 96-84 loss against O'Connor on the 5th. As for Skyline, they will challenge Queen Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
